England Edge Closer to Qatar, Despite Setback in Warsaw

WEB Poland snatched an injury-time equaliser to deprive England of three points in Warsaw and a sixth straight win in World Cup qualifying.

Harry Kane gave England the lead in the first half with a fine strike, but Poland hit back late on through Damian Szymanski to earn a share of the spoils.

The result means England remain top of Group I with 16 points from six games, but Poland are now just three points behind in second place.

England will be looking to bounce back from this setback when they host Albania at Wembley on Saturday.
